Gyce Little takes out the Apprentice of the Year award at the 2022 CCF Training Awards
A huge congratulations to our apprentice LV mechanic Gyce Little for taking out the Apprentice of the Year award at the 2022 CCF Training Awards on Friday night!
Gyce commenced working for RJV in September 2020 in the role of a mature age apprentice light vehicle mechanic.
He arrived at RJV through Arra Group with minimal mechanical experience but has clearly demonstrated his capability over the past 18 months.
He began with learning and understanding the very basics and has quickly advanced his skills. Now in the 2nd year of his apprenticeship, he is involved with the maintenance of the heavy goods vehicles.
His role involves liaising with site personnel, conducting daily diary entries for notes and future planning and using an electronic parts manual to identify part numbers.
Gyce has embraced the company safety policies and procedures and understands the safety goals that need to be achieved for a safe working environment. Equipped with this knowledge, he’s successfully obtained his high-risk work licence.
Gyce’s future goals are to acquire his HR licence, fire suppression certificate and air con licence.
Gyce performs his work diligently and without fail and has become a valued member of the RJV team. He will be a great mentor and role model for future RJV apprentices.
We look forward to being a part of Gyce’s continued growth and success.
