Welcome Josie – our new LV apprentice mechanic
We’d like to officially welcome our new LV apprentice mechanic Josie to our workshop team and the wider RJV family.
Josie started with RJV earlier in the year on work experience after she was introduced to us through our partnership with the Motivation Foundation. She had completed her Certificate II in Civil Construction but a more mechanically minded career was calling!
After five months in the workshop, we were pleased to offer her an LV mechanic apprenticeship which she commenced last month.
Josie becomes RJV’s first female apprentice mechanic and we are delighted to have her on board.
Josie will complete her four year apprenticeship under the supervision of our workshop manager Brian, supervisor Kohl and alongside our second year apprentice Gyce.
Josie says she’s been enjoying learning the ropes.
“After I finish, I’m keen to stay with RJV and maybe go up north with our mining division,” she says.
Welcome aboard Josie!
