Detail
Lake Treeby is only minutes away from Cockburn Central activity centre, which has a vibrant mix of residential, retail and commercial properties consisting of Cockburn Gateways Shopping Precinct, the ARC, medium to high density residential developments and the Cockburn Central train station.
Lake Treeby will ultimately be a 70ha residential development providing a mixture of medium and low density living, a primary school site and community recreational facilities centred around a picturesque lake and park.
The development will maintain the nature reserves which nestles the development amongst the rural settings.
RJV’s involvement with the development extends back to the remedial works & bulk earthworks of the site.
The estate site was previously used as a brick manufacturing facility and required RJV to excavate and treat the uncontrolled fill, consisting of the manufacturing by-products and waste materials, resulting in a site suitable for residential development.
The civil construction consists of road network interfaces with the Armadale Road, extension of water mains to provide scheme water to the estate and a wastewater pumping station.
The development area includes a sensitive nature reserve and sits above an extremely high-water table, with strategic dewatering and close monitoring and management of groundwater infiltration being part of the RJV daily operation.
