Detail

In June 2021 RJV completed construction of Section 3 of the Water Corporations DN1400 Yanchep Main Sewer – deep sewer within Stocklands Amberton Estate to their Northern boundary.

This work involved the installation of 640m of 1400mm diameter GRP at depths of up to 16m and 3 cast insitu Type 7 manholes.

RJV’s significant earthworks fleet was utilised to efficiently excavate to within 3m of pipe invert and some 150,000m3 of limestone/sand (including 15,000m3 of hard rock) was moved by a fleet of dozers, excavators and dump trucks.  A 90t excavator was then employed to dig the final 3m to invert.

With a total fall across 640m of sewer of 379mm (pipe grade of 1 in 1750), exacting installation standards and quality control was employed and grades were confirmed by a third party tolerance with no non-conformances.
