Fleet upgrade flies along
Upgrading and expanding our fleet has been a core component of our overarching growth strategy and sustainability strategy.
This year we have seen a record number of new heavy plant join our fleet, significantly enhancing our capability and service to our clients while supporting our efforts to minimise our carbon footprint.
Loaders
Nine new/near new Caterpillar and Hitachi loaders have been delivered over the past several months.
Excavators
Seven new/near new Hitachi and Komatsu excavators have joined our fleet.
Rollers
Five new Caterpillar rollers are now at various sites delivering exceptional performance for soil compaction.
Water trucks
Four new Bell 2806E water trucks have been purchased.
Road sweeper
Our recently purchased road sweeper, the first to be added to our growing fleet, brings this capability inhouse to further improve the quality and responsiveness of this service to our clients.
Custom built tilt tray crane truck
This custom truck is increasing our loading/unloading efficiency and providing greater flexibility in the type of equipment and materials we can transport.
New LVs
Finally, several new Toyota Hiluxes have joined our fleet of light vehicles, along with another grader, skid steer, and a new 50,000lt overhead water tank, which is making a statement with our refreshed branding.
Dozers
Next month we will take delivery of a new D10T-2 dozer. The dozer holds a particularly special place at RJV, being the very first item of equipment Ron Vincent purchased when he established the business in 1955.
Over our 67 year history we have maintained our reputation for possessing a strong dozer capability and continue to hold one of largest D10 dozer fleets in the metro area.
Before the end of the year, we’ll also receive two new graders and a new Vario Roller.
Our fleet upgrade and expansion will continue for the coming years as we work towards upgrading our entire fleet.
