Fleet upgrade continues with delivery of 11 new machines
Our fleet upgrade strategy continues with the delivery of a suite of new equipment ready to mobilise to various sites across the Perth metro area. Supplied by Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia, the new equipment comprises of three new Hitachi wheel loaders, four machine control fitted Hitachi excavators and four brand new Bell articulated trucks. This equipment holds some of the latest technology and innovations within the industry and is guaranteed to assist in the effectiveness and delivery of our projects.
Three new wheel loaders
The Hitachi ZW370 wheel loader is a highly durable, powerful impact loader with a fuel-efficient 15.68-litre six-cylinder water-cooled turbo engine. With a quick power switch which boosts the power of the wheel loader when required, this machine is designed for powerful digging. These wheel loaders also improve the safety and comfort of our crews with a spacious cab with heated air-suspension seating and regulated air-conditioning, helping to keep operators focused on the job.
Four new excavators
These ZX290 hydraulic excavators are set to increase our efficiency, boasting options for up to 30% lower fuel consumption (than the previous ZAXIS P-mode), enhanced versatility and added durability. With a heightened level of performance, these machines are smooth, fast and precise, offering larger swing power and faster movement. It will now be easier than ever to dig next to side walls and operate on slopes thanks to an increased swing torque of 9% with all the added comfort of expanded leg room.
Four new articulated trucks
The Bell E-series prides itself on hauling more, for longer, at a lowered cost-per-ton. Using the latest industry innovations, Bell’s E-series trucks aren’t just equipped with some of the industry’s strongest power-to-weight ratios and fuel-efficiency features but are also one of the safest trucks available. These trucks are fitted with industry leading Mercedes engines and Allison transmissions for maximum performance and built with hills in mind, with a hill assist feature and controlled descent on the steepest slopes.
Keep your eyes out for these new machines coming to our sites soon!
