In December 2013 RJV was awarded the Landside Bew Package 3 for the Roy Hill Mine site for Samsung.

The works involved bulk earthworks for the last 17.5 km section of railway embankment including rail loop, stockyards, drive station and terminal yards. The project required cut and fill of approximately 10 million cubic metres of pindan sand / sandy gravels over hauls of up to 16 km.

The timeline for the works was very tight with a requirement of up to 25,000 m3 of cut to be moved each day during peaks for extended periods, over both day and night shift.
